The Portofino Extendable Dining Table
A statement of contemporary craftsmanship
The Portofino dining table is designed to become the centrepiece of your home.
Its beautifully finished Pandora Vendome tabletop features a striking marble-inspired pattern, bringing together flowing veins of warm cream, soft beige, taupe and deeper earthy tones.
The natural-inspired colour variations give the table a distinctive, luxurious appearance, while the softly rounded rectangular silhouette creates an elegant and contemporary profile.
Beneath the tabletop, a sculptural walnut-finished X-shaped base introduces a striking architectural element. Its intersecting, angled supports create a sense of movement and visual interest, giving the Portofino a distinctive presence from every viewpoint.
The contrast between the richly patterned stone-effect surface and warm walnut tones creates an effortlessly sophisticated look, perfectly suited to contemporary kitchens, open-plan living spaces and elegant dining rooms.
Beautifully adaptable for everyday living
The Portofino combines statement design with practical versatility.
Its innovative extending design allows the tabletop to transform from a compact 160cm length into a spacious 200cm or fully extended 240cm dining surface.
Two 40cm extension sections provide the flexibility to create additional dining space when required, making the Portofino ideal for both everyday family life and larger gatherings.
Enjoy a beautifully proportioned table for daily dining, then extend it when family and friends come together.

Your questions, answered.
How long does delivery take, and how will my dining set arrive?
We aim to deliver your dining furniture within 3–7 working days of placing your order. Before delivery, our team will contact you to confirm the delivery day and a time slot, so you know when to expect your furniture. Please check that there is suitable access to your property for larger items and let us know about any access concerns in advance. Delivery times are estimates and we will keep you informed if arrangements change.
Will my dining table and chairs require assembly?
Yes, some basic assembly is required. The amount of assembly can vary between tables and chairs, so check the instructions supplied with your furniture and identify all components before starting. We recommend having a second adult help with larger or heavier parts, assembling on a protected, level surface, and checking that all fittings are secure before use. If you discover a missing or damaged component, contact our team before attempting assembly.
What is included in my dining set?
You can choose the table only or a complete set with the number of matching dining chairs shown in the options on this product page. Select your preferred configuration under “Choose your set” before adding it to your basket; the displayed price will reflect your choice. Your order will include only the table and chairs in the option you select. Decorative items in our photographs, such as tableware, vases and accessories, are not included.
Are the dining chairs comfortable for everyday use?
Our dining chairs are carefully selected with comfort, supportive shapes and premium upholstery in mind. Their cushioned seating and considered backrest designs make them well suited to family meals and entertaining guests. Seat shape, firmness and fabric vary between collections, so we recommend viewing the photographs and product information for your chosen chairs to make sure the style and proportions are right for you.
What happens if my dining furniture arrives damaged or incorrect?
If anything arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the affected item and any packaging damage, where available. We will review the details and arrange an appropriate resolution, including a replacement or replacement component where suitable. You will not be charged return or collection costs for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Can I return my dining set if I change my mind?
Yes. For eligible online orders, you can notify us within 14 days of receiving your furniture that you wish to cancel, then have a further 14 days to return it. Please contact our team with your order number before returning any furniture. We can arrange collection if needed. For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for return or collection costs; we will explain the applicable charge before arranging collection. Please keep the furniture in good condition, protect it carefully for transport and retain the original packaging where possible. Customers may inspect goods as they would in a shop, but excessive handling may affect the refund under applicable law. If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will not charge you to return it. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Does my dining set come with a warranty?
Yes. Every Vorelle Homes dining set includes a one-year (12-month) warranty. If you believe there is a manufacturing issue with your table or chairs during that period, please contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where possible. We will review the issue and explain the next steps in accordance with the applicable warranty terms. The warranty is additional to, and does not limit, your statutory rights when goods are faulty or not as described.
How do I clean and maintain my dining furniture?
Tabletops: Wipe regularly with a soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth and dry after cleaning. For stubborn marks, use a mild, pH-neutral cleaner suitable for the particular surface. Clean spills promptly and avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and dragging sharp objects across the top. Use coasters, placemats and heat-resistant mats rather than placing hot cookware directly on the surface.
Upholstered chairs: Vacuum gently with a soft upholstery attachment. Blot spills promptly with a clean cloth; do not rub or soak the fabric. Follow any fabric-specific care instructions supplied with your chairs and seek professional advice for persistent stains.
Frames and extending tables: Dust frames with a soft cloth, avoid prolonged moisture and direct heat, and periodically check accessible fixings. Extend the table gently, keeping moving parts clear and following the manufacturer’s instructions. Care instructions vary by finish, so always prioritise those supplied with your furniture.
